Special School Services
Vranch House provides a physiotherapy service for other special schools in Exeter. The team working at Ellen Tinkham, Millwater and Southbrook Schools, includes Technical Instructor Claire Harradine, and Physiotherapy Assistants Janet Ackford, Carly Budd and Hannah Charles. They coordinate and deliver a wide range of therapeutic interventions, such as individual programmes, group work, hydrotherapy and rebound therapy, individually tailored to suit each child's needs. Orthotic clinics and wheelchair clinics are supported by the physiotherapy team for the children who attend these schools.
We provide an integrated therapy approach with the other therapy disciplines. We work very closely with all staff to provide a consistent approach. We maintain regular contact with parents and carers and home environments and have strong links with the local joint agency teams.
