Dear Parents

Welcome to the last half term of the academic year!

A huge thank you to all the parents who supported us on the whole school trip last week. We all had a fantastic time and once more the weather forecast was thankfully wrong and we enjoyed some lovely sunshine. Our topic this term is ‘transport' and on the trip we saw boats, trains, bicycles, cars, buses and a helicopter. Thank you again for all your support!

Sports Day and Swimming Gala week

I wrote to you before to let you know our Swimming Gala will take place the same week as Sports Day. During the week of 16th June and the previous Thursday (12th June); you are welcome to observe your child in hydrotherapy or even better, swim with them! We ask that only one parent per child in the pool please.

Sports Day will be on Thursday, 19th June from 11am. Please come and cheer for the three teams. Don't forget to bring your trainers; some fun for parents is in the plans!

Summer Fayre

Join the fun and frolics! There will be lots of games, entertainment, activities, music, refreshments, cakes, etc. Ollie and Golly, the two friendly llamas will be with us again and children will have the opportunity to groom, feed and walk them. A catering van will be on site so you do not need to worry about dinner on the day. Parent volunteers who can bake delicious cakes and those who would like to organise/run an activity are very welcome! As the event will be happening on 4th July we encourage children, families and staff to dress in an American theme - lots of stripes and stars!

Parents of children attending Vranch on Fridays - please let us know in advance if you will attend the event and inform school transport that your child will not need to be collected at the usual time, 2pm.

Friends and family very welcome, I hope many of you will be able to join us!

Parents evening

Michelle, Dee and Chloe (Class Teachers), Hanna and Charlotte (Physiotherapists), Jenny (Occupational Therapist), Ruth (School Nurse), Kate (Head of Therapies) and I will be available on the day to answer all your questions and discuss your child's education and therapy provision. Beverley will contact you shortly to confirm your attendance and to book a suitable time slot for you.

Achievement Awards

On the last day of term, 18th July from 11am we will celebrate the children's achievements. After the Awards we will put on a party with music, games and party food. Please join us on the day, friends and family also welcome. You are welcome to take your child home after lunch.   Please do not forget to inform school transport.

School Uniform

If there is sufficient demand Beverley will shortly be placing an order for school uniform, please let her know as soon as possible if you wish to order any items.

Your feedback is much appreciated; please do not hesitate to contact me ([email protected]) or any member of Vranch House if you would like to discuss any aspect of your child's schooling.

Hope to see many of you at the forthcoming events at Vranch House!
